Amber Skye is a specialist of all girl love. So I knew what to expect from this book. To some extend.This story is halfway between romance and lesbian erotica. And to be honest this is a mix that works perfectly here. The character of Nicole Peterson is very interesting and shows depth. From the beginning of the story, we can see that Nicole is strong-willed although a little lost maybe. So when Harper steps into her life, things get even more complicated for her.
The aspect of Nicole that I loved the most was her acceptance of who she is. For instance she admits loving sex whith men. However she is never looking for some kind of redemption or anything. She is who she is. She faces what is ahead of her, sometimes with the help of her father.
In the end the storyline is great. Nicole is a great character and Harper is a perfect trigger for events to occur. The sex is very hot. So this book is definitely recommended.

The clever title drew me in. The sweet story and chemistry between the characters made it memorable. Amber writes about former acquaintances that discover they have quite a bit in common, like feelings and emotions that are foreign and new for one of the characters. It's a splendid story, a wayfinding story, with all the other elements that Skye is known for in her stories.
After a few failed relationships and unsuccessful jobs, Nicole is back in Georgia at her Dad's place. She meets Harper, the little girl she used to babysit. Harper is now a stunning young woman. As it turns out Harper is the right person at the right time to help Nicole rebound. And rebound she does! A great story with wonderful characters and storyline. Always enjoy the intimacy mixed with real passion of an Amber Skye story.
This by far is the most tender, romantic and sensual story I have read of Ambers. She did a beautiful job conveying first the renewed friendship which then evolved into a deeper relationship. The love making was both raw and erotic as well as tender and sensual. I would love to see where these two are in a year or so, as I suspect their love will only grow stronger with time. Thank you so much Amber for suggesting this book it was everything you promised and more!

Life doesn't always work out how we expect and Nicole never anticipated she’d be living back at home with her father at twenty-eight. But it turns out to be the best move she’s ever made.
This is more romance, a story more about finding your true self, about going with the flow, embracing new experiences than pure erotica, but that's its strength.
There's a natural flow to Amber's easy writing style with occasional highly pleasing phrases "the haze of my departing slumber". And others that appear deceptively simple, yet conjure up a world of emotions in the reader "I realized now how badly I’d missed real friendship and closeness with another human being"
This is the first of Amber’s stories that I’ve read, but on the basis of this story alone, I would definitely recommend this writer to anyone who likes emotion with their sexy.
The heroine is a horrible person. She cheats on her husband whom she says she loves and never accepts fault as she divorces him so she can sleep with someone else whom she immediately betrays. She sleeps with several other people and then she falls for a woman. She has all the morals of an alley cat. This is no romance at all as I wanted to see her learn something. She learned nothing.
This is Amber Skye's best work to date. Super slick writing with a hot little story. Nicole goes home to take care of her father and escape the disaster her life has become. She volunteers to do a neighborhood service project and hopes to be paired with the hot guy down the street. Instead she works with Harper, a girl Nicole babysat for years ago. The pacing in the story is spot on with tension in all the right places. And the sex is steamy.
